Surah Balad is the 90th surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Quran which is included in the thirtieth part of the Quran.
This surah begins with the oath of allegiance, which refers to the land of Mecca; That is why it is called Balad.
In Surah Balad, God deals with the fact that human life in the world is constantly fraught with suffering, and in the other part, by enumerating some of the blessings, he points out the ingratitude of human beings in the face of these blessings.
In Surah Balad, the most valuable human deeds are the liberation of slaves, feeding and helping the poor.
In the virtue of reciting this surah, it has been narrated from the Prophet (PBUH) that whoever recites Surah Balad, God will protect him from his wrath on the Day of Judgment.Abu Basir narrated from Imam Sadiq (AS) that whoever recites Surah Balad in his obligatory prayer will be known as righteous in this world and in the Hereafter he will be known for having a special place with God and will be one of the companions of the prophets, martyrs and the righteous.
[] Abi Ibn Kab quotes the words of the Messenger of God (PBUH).
Whoever recites Surah Balad, God will protect him from his wrath on the Day of Judgment, and he will be saved from the hard necks of the Hereafter.
[]In the interpretation of the argument for reciting this surah, properties such as the safety of the baby (if this surah is accompanied by a text) [] as well as the treatment of respiratory diseases if the water written on it is inhaled are mentioned.
